Raiders Rookie Edge Rusher Tyree Wilson Misses Practice With Illness in Consecutive Days
Las Vegas Raiders rookie edge rusher Tyree Wilson has missed practice in consecutive days with an illness, according to the injury report.
Wilson was drafted by the Raiders seventh overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. He was expected to be a key part of the Raiders’ pass rush this season especially after the Chandler Jones situation has continued to get worse.
It is unclear when Wilson will be able to return to practice. The Raiders are scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, so Wilson’s status for that game is uncertain.
The Raiders are already coming off a 38-10 loss to Buffalo so the team has to respond. Raiders need more help on the Defensive line than Maxx Crosby. If Wilson is unable to play on Sunday night, it would be a major blow to the Raiders’ defense.
The Raiders will provide an update on Wilson on Friday or Saturday regarding his status for Sundays Game.
