The “Streak” Continues

The Las Vegas Raiders will continue their streak of not being selected to play in the NFL international series games. The Raiders last played internationally against the Bears in week 5 win back in 2019; What many will remember as the first game Khalil Mack played against the Raiders where he registered 0 sack and 1 QB hit on Derek Carr.

The Raiders all time are 2-3 in the International Series. For transparency it’s a good thing that the Raiders are not playing in this series. Typically, these games are deemed not the most entertaining games and can be played first thing in the morning in EST/CST/PST because of the time difference. With that said we can’t forget some of the more meaningful Raider international moments. We already mentioned the Raiders vs. Khalil Mack game, but there was the last game Dennis Allen ever coached for the Raiders. The Raiders had fallen to 0-4 with the 38-14 loss to the Miami Dolphins after having Lamar Miller run for 2 TDs on them. Mark Davis had the flight back from London to think over his decision and decided to move on from Allen, who was 8-28 all time, and name Tony Sparano interim coach. Which led to another great Raider moment of Tony Spirano burying the game ball from the Dolphins game in front of the players.

Also, we have the 2016 Brock Osweiler laser pointer in the eyes game during the 2016 season in Mexico City. The schedule is set to be released tomorrow night, so soon the guess work of their schedule will be over
